Simplif is a Shopify application that helps merchants automate influencer gifting programs by collecting shipping and product information from influencers and creating orders within the merchant's Shopify store.
Merchants using Simplif are the data controllers. Simplif acts solely as a data processor, processing personal data only on behalf of and at the direction of the merchant, for the purpose of providing the service. We do not combine data from one merchant with data from another, and we do not process merchant customer data outside of the direct service relationship.
We request only the permissions necessary to deliver core functionality.

We do not sell personal data.
We maintain reasonable technical and organizational security measures including encryption in transit via TLS/SSL, access controls limiting data access to authorized personnel, and confidentiality obligations for all personnel with access to personal data.
We retain data only as long as necessary to provide app functionality. When a merchant uninstalls the app, our access to their Shopify data is immediately revoked per Shopify's platform rules. Upon written request, we will delete personal data in accordance with applicable law.
Because we act as a data processor, requests related to personal data — including access, deletion, or correction — should be directed to the merchant who controls the data. We will notify the relevant merchant of any request we receive within 48 hours and provide reasonable assistance to help the merchant fulfil it.
We may update this policy to reflect changes in legal requirements or app functionality. Updates will be posted at simplif.com/privacy-policy with a revised effective date.
